Ebay or Etsy

I've been having fun with the woodburning and painting, I'm almost finished with these two. I haven't been listing any of my art on Ebay because I've been considering listing on Etsy instead. Those of you that have tried both which do you prefer?

Those are so cute. I like the soft colors. I haven't ever really researched Etsy yet, but it does look interesting. Have a great evening!

Beautiful work! I don't have advice about the Ebay or Etsy togic, as I am just getting ready to open my own little shop on Etsy. I've been told that is the way to go....
Thank you for stopping by my blog, and your comment about the close up of Catherine! Hearing from you makes my day! : )

Hello. I was just visiting your site after your comment on my blog. Your paintings are lovely. I also love your ruffly skirt, it's very artsy. Cute squirrel pictur too, and I love your music picks.

I prefer Etsy. Your work can kind of "get lost" on ebay.

Love these two paintings. So pretty. I have been watching this post because I wonder the same thing. Hmmm , I think it must be good to have both. They are like two different worlds. I have not done Etsy yet, just because I have not taken the time to figure it out. I just wonder if you get as much traffic on Etsy? I imagine you would.

Good luck Leticia
Let us know what you decide. :)

Beautiful creations Leticia! Can't wait to see them finished. As you know, I've only sold on ebay and have been debating this same question about etsy for quite some time. I've just recently decided to take a crack at it and I am in the process of opening an etsy really soon. I see you've done great on etsy so far! More good wishes for you!

Creative Blessings,
Lisa :)

Hi, I have just stumbled on your blog. Your paintings are simply beautiful. I could never master painting, so I stick to sewing and combining all the wonderful quilting fabrics available.

I have just started on Etsy. What I love about Etsy is that you are amongst your peers. I find that other crafters like to buy craft - and this is the perfect spot to find it. It is easy to use and looks so professional. You also reach a worldwide audience. Like a previous commenter said - it is easy to get lost on ebay.

Give etsy a go!

I just opened an etsy store yesterday. It makes me feel happy to be able to have a place of my own to display my art work. Now I have a place to send people if they want to buy directly from me.
I will let you know how it goes.

Hope you have a most wonderful Sunday!
