Self Portrait
A self portrait in my office. Here is where many times I get inspired by all those creative women with beautiful websites or while browsing through my many books and magazines. That bookshelf doesn't show half of what I have.
Yesterday was busy but I did get a painting started. I'll finish it today so that I can list it on Ebay tomorrow.

It's Quiet
The kids are back at school. I miss them but it will be nice to have bigger blocks of uninterrupted time to create.
We had a nice weekend, a little fun before heading back to school. On Saturday, we drove to Half Moon Bay and the weather was gorgeous. Spent time on the beach and then had lunch on Main Street at the Moonside Bakery and Cafe. Some browsing in shops including one of our favorites http://www.halftohaveit.com/ .
On Sunday we were in Niles for the Antique Faire & Flea Market. It was my first time in Niles despite having been born and raised here in the Bay Area. Nice small historic town with antique shops lining the street. It was in Niles that many of the first silent films were made. Had a late lunch with friends and the kids did some swimming then home to prepare for the first day of school.
